Breton gastronomy, between land and sea
Brittany is a land of gastronomy.
It is therefore an opportunity to make your taste buds travel with delicious local products (and generally very, very rich in salted butter): try the famous crêpes - the Breton tradition par excellence - and galettes, salted or sweet, the very rich Kouign Amann, the salted butter caramels, the far breton (yum), or the Andouillette de Guéméné.
And as Brittany is a region of fishermen, don't forget the shellfish, crustaceans and fish from the Breton ports, in particular the delicious oysters from Cancale, in Ille-et-Vilaine, mussels and scallops...
Oyster and seafood tasting
To taste the oysters of Brittany directly from the producers, leave your campsite!
If you spend your holidays in Arradon (Morbihan), at the Penboch campsite **** for example, organise a tasting at the table of the Maison Jegat, producer of natural hollow and flat oysters since 1925.
In the Côtes d'Armor during your stay at the campsite Port La Chaine **** (Pleubian), Le Varquez-sur-Mer *** (Plouha) or Le Cap de Bréhat **** (Plouézec), head for the oyster bar of the Ferme Marine Paimpolaise (in Paimpol)
In Plouguerneau in the north of Finistère, take advantage of your holidays at the campsite La Grève Blanche ** to enjoy an oyster tasting at the Maison Legris oyster bar in the heart of the Lilia archipelago.
If you are convinced by this argument, don't delay in choosing from among the 720 campsites in Brittany!
