Les Ranchisses campsite ***** in Chassiers. Open from April to the end of September, it is less than 15 km from the village of Vogüé. This magnificent campsite has direct access to the beach, as it is located on the banks of the river Ligne. 250 pitches and 115 rentals (mobile homes, chalets, etc.) await you, as well as an ultra-modern water park with indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides, hammam, sauna and jacuzzi, and a wellness area with Spa. You can go kayaking, tennis or archery, and there's entertainment throughout the day, as well as children's clubs, while everyone gets together for family fun, shows and dance evenings.

Camping Le Grillou *** in Rosières is located 22 km from Vogüé. It is open from May to September and has around a hundred pitches and forty rentals (mobile homes and chalets). Direct access to the beach, a water park with a swimming pool, a paddling pool with Aquatoons play area and a 47-metre-long waterslide. You can have lunch or dinner at the Le Grillou restaurant, just a few steps from the campsite. A free service area is available for motorhomes. When it comes to sports and entertainment, you can enjoy a wide range of activities, including bike hire, table tennis, a basketball and volleyball court and evening entertainment and dancing.

The medieval charm of Sainte-Marie church

The church of Sainte-Marie de Vogüé is a striking example of the region's religious heritage, perfectly in keeping with the village's undeniable medieval charm. Remarkable for its architecture and picturesque location, it is Romanesque in style, although additions and modifications have been made over the centuries. It stands on an elevated site, offering panoramic views over the village and the Ardèche valley. The building was constructed from the 12th century onwards. The exterior of the church is dominated by its simple but imposing façade, with a round-arched doorway and a large rose window inside the arch. The bell tower is square in shape and stands out for its height. It is topped by a slender spire, typical of medieval religious buildings. The interior of Sainte-Marie church is just as impressive. It features a Romanesque nave. The walls are adorned with frescoes and murals, some dating back to the 13th century. These works bear witness to the religious importance of the site in the Middle Ages.

La Chapelle Cerice

Not far from here is the Cerice chapel, a small religious building characterised by its simplicity and sobriety, with a stone façade and architectural features typical of the Romanesque style, such as round arches and barrel vaults. The interior is just as modest, with a peaceful atmosphere and antique liturgical furnishings. The chapel is surrounded by a small cemetery, adding to its intimate and spiritual feel. Today, it is a popular place to visit for walkers and lovers of historical heritage, not least because of its exceptional natural setting. Renovated in 2010, it also hosts summer exhibitions.

The château, a blend of history, architecture and nature
