Located next to the Italian border, do you know Menton? Famous for its delicious lemon and nicknamed the Pearl of France thanks to its lush vegetation and numerous flowering gardens, many of which are classified as remarkable gardens or historical monuments. Stroll through the gardens of Villa Maria Serena, or the Valencian garden of Fontana Rosa. Observe the beauty of the sunset-coloured facades of the old town and wander through the pretty streets that will lead you to the sea.

A charming medieval town painted by Modigliani, Matisse or Utrillo, the Provencal colours of Saint-Paul-de-Vence attract visitors to this small perched village which offers exceptional views as far as the Cap d'Antibes. You can visit some of the renowned art galleries and go to the Maeght Foundation to see one of the most important collections of 20th century prints and sculptures.

Enjoy the calm and nature of the Lerins Islands, and in particular the almost uninhabited island of Sainte-Marguerite, which offers you 150 hectares of forest with a superb pond that attracts a large number of migratory birds, as well as several small wild creeks with transparent water.

On the Mediterranean coast, the old town of Antibes is remarkable. Surrounded by ramparts, the colourful facades of the houses, its quiet streets and its abundant vegetation offer you a nice glimpse of the Provencal-style walks that await you. Here you can marvel at the breathtaking view of the sea, listen to the song of the cicadas and smell the pine forest on the Chemin des Douaniers. If you haven't had enough, climb up to the Garoupe lighthouse for an incredible view. Finally, the sumptuous Château Grimaldi is home to the Picasso Museum, so be sure to visit the museum's terrace.

The old village of Eze, perched at 400 meters high, is considered as one of the most beautiful villages of the Alpes-Maritimes. If you go to Monaco, the exotic garden is a must. Finally, the medieval town of Vence and the village suspended in the mountains of Sainte-Agnès are jewels.
