Visit the African reserve of Sigean during your camping holiday
Created by the owner of Thoiry Zoo and open since 1974, the reserve has never stopped growing. Today, there are 3,800 animals (900 mammals, 900 reptiles and 2,000 birds) from the African savannah living freely in a natural park. By car (the circuit is 7.5 km long) or on foot, you can watch them in the park along a six-kilometre long route. This is an ideal opportunity to see the animals evolve, move around or play. It is one of the largest African reserves in Europe with antelopes, African elephants and white rhinos. The place has been created for the animals to find their natural, well-adapted and extensive behaviour. The reserve is one of the largest in France.
