Enjoy the férias during your camping holiday in the Landes
Every year, traditionally around 15 August for the Feria de Dax and at the end of July for the Fêtes de la Madeleine, sporting, musical (bandas) and theatrical events are organised around the bullfights. In the bullring, the bullfighters fight the bulls on foot or on horseback (corrida de rejón). The spectators, who are convinced festayres, also attend the novilladas (shows of young bulls and young bullfighters), at the end of which the animal is sometimes put to death. A Spanish atmosphere thus reigns over the usually calm city. A change of scenery guaranteed!
