Océanopolis is a National Centre for Scientific Culture dedicated to the Ocean; it is also one of the largest aquariums in Brittany, with 1000 different species and 10,000 animals. This ocean discovery park extends over 9000 m² of visiting areas.

Visit Océanopolis during your camping holiday

At the Océanopolis in Brest, three pavilions present the marine world:

  • The Polar Pavilion allows you to discover Europe's largest "manhoo" and its real ice floe on which you can admire seals from the Great North. For a dive into the heart of the icy seas, don't miss the film projected on a panoramic screen.
  • The Temperate Pavilion has been replaced by the Brittany Pavilion, which now presents the biodiversity of the Breton coastline, turned towards the ocean. Among the new features, there are also new aquariums and new areas. Here you can watch seals being fed and discover rarely seen animal species.
  • Finally, to warm up, head for the Tropical Pavilion with the discovery of the mangrove and tropical plants. The shark tank, the Caribbean tank and the Indian Ocean tank take you to the South Seas and the Australian Great Barrier Reef. Here is a unique freshwater pool in which piranhas swim.

During this unique world tour in the heart of the oceans in faithfully reconstructed marine universes, discover the otter trail.
