Seen on TV: how to choose your campsite

La Quotidienne de France 5

"How to choose the right campsite for your holidays" was the theme of the programme La Quotidienne broadcast on 31 May 2019 on France 5. What does a campsite look like in 2019? What are the prices you can find there? Are there still any "traditional" campsites that favour nature and tents? What are the criteria for awarding stars?

With more than 9,000 campsites in France, of which nearly 8,000 are serviced, the sector has certainly evolved a lot, but the offer is so wide in France that it is possible to find accommodation for all tastes and budgets.

If you are feeling a bit lost about the evolution of the outdoor hotel industry in 2019, or if you are still hesitating between camping and hotel club, this report is for you!

You will be able to meet the guests of the show: Bruno Lacroix, editorial director of the professional magazine L'officiel des terrains de camping, and Céline Cochelin, communication director of the French Federation of campers, caravanners and motor home owners, historical partner of our Official Camping-Caravanning Guide, seen (too) quickly in the show.
