The French Federation of Campers, Caravanners and Motor Caravanners (FFCC) has joined forces with the publishing house Sophia Communication to found the company Régicamp. The latter was created as part of the takeover of the campsite guides from Move Publishing.
8 campsite and service area guides
Régicamp has taken over the production of 8 titles: the Official Camping and Caravanning Guide (which has listed all the campsites in France since 1961), the Official Camping Guide for Southern Europe, the Camping de rêve Guide, the Holiday Rental Guide for Campsites, the Official Guide to Camper Service Areas, the Bel Air Guide to Campsites in France, the Bel Air Guide to Europe and the Bel Air Guide to Camper Escapes.
Websites dedicated to camping holidays
In addition, Régicamp will also be responsible for the digital versions with the websites www.campingfrance.com (launched in 1998) and www.les-plus-beaux-campings.com (launched in 2013). Two major sites in the French camping sector.
Régicamp will also manage the BtoB platform my-campsite.eu, which enables the 23,000 establishments listed in Europe to update the data published in the paper guides - and of course on the company's websites!
Régicamp has announced the appointment of Linda Salem as President. Former editor of Move Publishing's Tourism division, Linda Salem had already joined forces with Hugues Pajotin and Sophia Communication to found Edicamp in September 2018. This was to take over the magazines Camping-Car Magazine and the trade magazine L'Officiel des terrains de camping. The two companies Régicamp and Edicamp are now based in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
