The Cevennes

Between the domes of the Massif Central and the great plain of Languedoc, the Cevennes are a region of highlands dominated by the two summits, Mont Lozère to the North and Mont Aigoual to the South. Twenty four hundred species of animals have been counted in the national park, the only inhabited one in France. Anduze, Florac and Saint-Jean-du-Gard are not to be missed.
